marcus schrenker - accused of trying to fake his death

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Marcus Schrenker, an indian money manger is accused of trying to fake his death in plan crash. Marcus Schrenker has undergone a mental evaluation to determine if he's eligible to stand trial.


A federal judge is expected to be sent a report on Marcus Schrenker's competency by tomorrow.

Marcus Schrenker is being held a Tallahassee correctional facility, pending an assessment of his competency to stand trial in a Florida federal court.

Marcus Schrenker was arrested at a Florida campground in January, two days after he allegedly bailed out of his plane over Alabama to flee personal and financial problems.

The plane crashed 200 miles away in Florida.

Marcus Schrenker faces federal charges in Florida and Indiana as well as a half-dozen lawsuits related to his alleged bilking of investors out of hundreds of thousands of dollars.
