Captain Rue originally saw the albino dolphin, which also has red eyes, swimming with Pod four other albino dolphins, with one appearing to his mother, who never left his side.

"It was absolutely amazing pink.

"I have never seen anything like it. It'S of the same color throughout the body and it looks like he just came out of the paint booth.

"Albino dolphin apparently healthy and normal, apart from its color, which is very beautiful and amazing pink.

"Mammal completely pink from head to tail and has red eyes, indicating her albinism. The skin looks smooth, pink gloss, and without flaws.

"I personally saw a pink albino dolphin 40 to 50 times in the time since the original sighting as it is apparently settled with his family in a canal boat Calcasieu.

"As time passed the young mammal has grown, and sometimes the business from his mother to feed and play, but always remains in the vicinity of the pod.

"Surprisingly, it does not appear to be seriously affecting the environment or the sunlight, as could be expected given his condition, although it usually remains below the surface a little more than others in the pods. "

Regina Asmutis-Silvia, Senior Biologist Whale and Albino dolphin Conservation Society, said:"I have never seen a albino dolphin colored so in my career all.

"This is a really nice albino dolphin, but people should be careful, as with any albino dolphins, respect him - to watch from the outside to limit their viewing time, Don'T Chase or harass him

"While this animal looks like pink, it's an albino which you may have noticed the pink eye.

"Albinism is a genetic trait, and it is unclear to what type of albinism that the animal inherited. "
