Genkvetch - Senior's Social Networking Sites
MIAMI, FL -- Genkvetch is created by three South Floridians who quit their kvetching about youth-dominated social networking Web sites and created their own website called, Genkvetch.
Our news partners at the Sun-Sentinel interviewed the site's creators, who say the name honors a generation that 'kvetches,' the Yiddish word meaning complains, whines or nags.
The group says Genkvetch browsers will find recipes, movie reviews and book suggestions. The site also includes big fonts, few flashy colors, a personals section and news of interest to seniors, including health, current events and volunteer opportunities.
